Bengali film star Subhashree Ganguly, along with her son Yuvaan, has safely returned to Kolkata after being stranded in Dubai amidst the ongoing West Asia conflict. Their arrival in Kolkata came via Mumbai, where they were warmly received at the airport by Ganguly's husband, filmmaker Raj Chakraborty, who is also a TMC MLA.
Speaking to reporters, Ganguly recounted the ordeal in Dubai as 'terrifying', expressing her devastation and gratitude for the love and support that bolstered her during the ordeal. 'It was a very frightening situation. I am too devastated to share my full experience now', she remarked.
The actress, known for her roles in films such as 'Challenge', 'Parineeta', and 'Grihapravesh', had traveled to Dubai with her son for a holiday. Their scheduled return on Wednesday was jeopardized by the escalation of regional tensions involving the US, Israel, and Iran.
