In a significant move towards regional development, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced a comprehensive roadmap for Bastar's growth, focusing on key areas such as employment, education, startups, and infrastructure.
The announcement was made during the closing ceremony of 'Innovation Mahakumbh 1.0' at Shaheed Mahendra Karma University in Jagdalpur. This initiative aims to elevate Bastar as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, tapping into its abundant talent and potential.
The state plans to implement the 'Niyad Nella Nar 2.0' scheme, enhancing basic amenities in remote villages while fostering startup and infrastructure development. This strategic push, coupled with the Innovation and Startup Promotion Policy 2025-30, underscores the role of youth in achieving a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047. Key sectors highlighted include tribal art, organic farming, tourism, and handicrafts.
