Hachette India Expands Distribution of Renowned UK Publishers

Hachette India is set to distribute works for major UK independent publishers like Faber and Granta in India. This agreement will enhance the presence of leading literary works, giving authors like Elena Ferrante and Kazuo Ishiguro wider Indian audience access through Hachette's network.

Hachette India has taken a significant step to enhance its presence in the literary market by managing distribution for esteemed UK independent publishers in India. The collaboration includes top names like Faber, Granta Books, and Europa Editions.

This exclusive distribution arrangement, starting from October, aims to introduce celebrated literary works to a broader Indian audience, featuring Nobel Laureates and Booker Prize winners among its collection.

Riti Jagoorie, the managing director of Hachette India, expressed enthusiasm over the partnership, highlighting the potential to grow business and forge a greater literary presence across the Subcontinent through this affiliation.
