The event celebrated the air force's successful precision strikes conducted in 2025, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir to avenge a terror attack in Pahalgam.

The relay run featured over 600 participants, including both military personnel and civilian volunteers, demonstrating teamwork and strengthening public engagement. The run followed a route through key landmarks in the capital, concluding at the Air Force Station in New Delhi.

The initiative aimed to evoke pride and loyalty among IAF personnel, while also increasing public visibility of the armed forces. Associated activities included a performance by the IAF jazz band at Nehru Park, showcasing the cultural ethos of the force.
