Maharashtra is set to host a 'grand and divine' Kumbh Mela, as announced by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The event will feature new facilities for devotees and saints. A new logo was unveiled, selected via competition, symbolizing Nashik and Trimbakeshwar's religious heritage. The event runs from 2026 to 2028.

The new official logo, selected through a national competition, reflects Nashik and Trimbakeshwar's religious and cultural heritage. The design contest saw over 3,000 entries.

Featuring symbols like Lord Shiva's trident and the Godavari River, the Kumbh Mela will commence on October 31, 2026, concluding on July 24, 2028, with main events in 2027.
