The initiative, spearheaded by Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, aligns with directives from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enhance domestic travel over overseas expenditures.

Strategies include extending stays at popular destinations, offering accommodation discounts, and promoting destination weddings at historical sites like Ayodhya and Varanasi, aiming to transform Uttar Pradesh into a leading travel choice for domestic tourists.
