On Saturday, Sikkim's Statehood Day was marked at Assam Lok Bhavan under the leadership of Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, as a part of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' initiative. Addressing attendees, Governor Acharya praised the Himalayan state for its peaceful and progressive nature, serving as a symbol of national pride.
Acharya highlighted Sikkim as India's first fully organic state, a leader in sustainable development where economic growth aligns with environmental protection.
