In a significant statement, superstar Rajinikanth has publicly dispelled allegations that he harbors any jealousy towards newly elected Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay. Addressing media at his Poes Garden residence, the veteran actor clarified that a recent meeting with DMK president M K Stalin was purely out of friendship, devoid of political intentions.
Rajinikanth further applauded Vijay's impressive political ascent at such a young age, comparing him favorably to former legends MG Ramachandran and N T Rama Rao. He emphasized there was no political rivalry, respecting Vijay's achievements in the political landscape.
Additionally, Rajinikanth confirmed his decision to refrain from entering politics, attributing this to health concerns, and called upon his fans to support parties of their choice. He also wished Vijay well, encouraging the public to allow him a couple of years to establish himself effectively.
