Penpa Tsering Reaffirms Commitment to Dalai Lama's Middle Way Approach

At his swearing-in ceremony, Penpa Tsering, leader of the Tibetan government-in-exile, emphasized adherence to the Middle Way Policy established by Dalai Lama, as a means to resolve issues with China. Accusing China of efforts to erase Tibetan identity, he called for unity and cultural preservation among Tibetans.
Tsering pledged to maintain discreet communications with China to seek a resolution, grounded on non-violence and mutual respect. He thanked India and other nations for their support and expressed hope for future reunification of Tibetans worldwide. The Central Tibetan Administration plans to host a cultural festival in Dharamshala later this month.
