Confirmed Mirzapur Season 2 to show severe clash between Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal

On Thursday, Mirzapur Season 2 was announced by Amazon Prime Video and Indian and global fans are highly excited as they were passionately waiting for it since Season 1 dropped its finale on November 16, 2018.

Mirzapur Season 2, the gangster drama has to go ahead starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Anangsha Biswas, Richa Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey etc. – this is what said by Amazon Prime Video during the announcement.

Fans will be quite happy to know Mirzapur Season 2 will go in production this year, although the streaming giant has not declared the exact time of its premiere. “We are committed to creating compelling stories with powerful characters, gripping narratives and world-class production values. We are thrilled with the response to Mirzapur’s first season from our customers and we are happy to be working with the amazing team at Excel Media & Entertainment for another bold and powerful narrative for the next season of the show,” Vijay Subramaniam, Director and Head of Content, Amazon Prime Video opined.

Mirzapur’s one of the executive producers, Farhan Akhtar said in a statement that it is quite exciting and inspiring to see that global audiences are beautifully responding to the type of content they are creating. “We are glad that both shows have been renewed for the next season giving us another chance to showcase Indian stories on a global stage,” Akhtar added.
