Suits Season 9 to miss Wendell? Patrick J Adam’s probable returning, What about Meghan Markle?

Suits Season 9 is positively happening, but when is the premiere? Since Season 8 dropped its finale on February 27, 2019 that left the viewers wondering if Wendell Pierce (played the role of Robert Zane) is leaving Suits.

In Suits Season 9, Robert Zane, the father of Rachel Zane (played by Meghan Markle), may not be seen as he was seen exiting the firm to take early retirement. Robert is the managing partner and one of the name partners at Zane Specter Litt. As an extremely talented attorney, he has achieved huge success and prestige in the city of New York as a managing partner of one of the city’s top firms. Pearson Specter went through a major overhaul by merging with Robert’s firm with the introduction of Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl).

Is Wendell Pierce leaving series in Suits Season 9? It may be true that he is currently exiting the show, but the door seems to be left open for him to return at least before the series drops its finale in 2020. “The decision to write Robert off was entirely driven by Wendell’s schedule,” the series creator Aaron Korsh told Deadline.

Suits Season 8 kept fans disappointed due to the absence of Patrick J Adams, Meghan Markle and Gina Torres. But things are likely to change in Season 9. According to Latin Times, at least one of them is expected to reprise his/her role in the final season. And if Patrick J Adams reprises his role as Mike Ross, then Rachel Zane’s returning as Meghan Markle is absolutely there as these two characters are happily married. But fans are worried of Meghan Markle’s returning due to her current pregnancy. And her royal duties after getting married to Prince Harry takes precedence over everything else. Even Aaron Korsh said that they are not ‘currently pursuing asking Meghan to leave her position with the royal family and join the ninth season’.
