Pirates of the Caribbean 6: Know which actress to replace Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow

Fans must be wondering the progress behind the making of Pirates of the Caribbean 6. Before discussing on it, let’s notify you that Netflix is all set to air Pirates of the Caribbean 5 to the viewers residing in the United Kingdom. What’s on Netflix reports that Netflix UK will have to wait until April this year for the arrival of Dead Men Tell No Tales. The release date for Netflix is expected to be on April 18.

As far as making of Pirates of the Caribbean 6, sources say that Johnny Depp isn’t going to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the sixth movie of the franchise. It was recently reported that Disney’s sixth movie on American swashbuckler fantasy film series would be a reboot with Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. According to HN Entertainment, the script isn’t finished and things can change anytime. The franchise is likely to focus on female pirate Redd.

Pirates of the Caribbean 6 may have Karen Gillan or Daisy Ridley to play the role of female pirate Redd but the studio hasn’t commented on it. Either of those beautiful actresses would be terrific choices to lead the six instalments of the franchise as some believe that now a fresh face needs to come up. On the other hand, the names of Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone were also surfaced.

Disney chief Sean Bailey recently confirmed that studio has already set up its mind to work on a new movie on the franchise. And it has strongly dropped the message that Johnny Depp wouldn’t reprise his role as Jack Sparrow. Sean Bailey also confirmed that Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are writing the screenplay for Pirates of the Caribbean 6.

“We want to bring in a new energy and vitality. I love the (Pirates) movies, but part of the reason Paul and Rhett are so interesting is that we want to give it a kick in the pants. And that’s what I’ve tasked them with,” he said.
