Steven Universe Season 6 to show grown-up Steven, Rebecca Sugar hinted

Steven Universe Season 6 is one of the highly anticipated animated television series but unfortunately, it is not confirmed yet. While its avid viewers are passionately waiting for some latest updates, it seems they need to wait some more time to know if the animated series receives a renewal order or not.

Scarcity of information on Steven Universe Season 6 is creating confusion among fans. Season 5 dropped its finale titled ‘Change Your Mind’ that also revealed ‘Steven’s biggest challenge yet’. This stirred fans interest to know the kind of challenges and how Steven confronts to overcome those challenges.

Some fans believe that Steven Universe Season 6 won’t be renewed as it has been replaced by a film based on the series titled Steven Universe: The Movie. This movie was announced on July 21 last year at San Diego Comic-Con. It is yet to be made available on Cartoon Network in late 2019. Some avid viewers believe that this movie have been prepared to serve as a sort of replacement. Hence, according to them, when the movie premieres, it might be the completion of Rebecca Sugar-created animated series on Cartoon Network Studios.

On the other hand, Rebecca Sugar earlier said there will be more stories after Steven Universe Season 5. Sugar even said that the viewers will get to see Steven more grown-up and his developed personality. Hence, according to Sugar, Steven is quite matured to take his own decision. If we go with her words, then Steven Universe Season 6 will be coming sooner or later.
