In The Curse of Oak Island Season 6 episode 19, viewers will see the team guided by Rick Lagina and Marty Lagina digging in Smith’s Cove. They will be seen working faster than usual as they believe they are on the brink of finding something big and mysterious. The Lagina brothers want to explore the sight more and accelerate the task as they need to halt the operations soon.

Here’s the synopsis for The Curse of Oak Island Season 6 episode 19 – With the days getting shorter and only a few weeks remaining before the fellowship must suspend operations for the winter, the team is determined to excavate under the giant crane pad in Smith’s Cove.

The synopsis also talks about the suspension of operations due to winter. The weather condition in Nova Scotia is making the excavation-work difficult to continue. Keeping the excavated areas dry is utmost vital to maintain safety, which is not possible in the severe winter season. And the Lagina brothers already said earlier that safety comes first for them, EconoTimes reminds.

On the other hand, the synopsis says that the team will excavate under the giant crane pad in Smith’s Cove. The team members plan to dismantle the wooden crane pad after getting permission to leave the dam standing. The excavation continues and at 101ft, they penetrated a wooden construction. A handcrafted oak timber was also discovered. The experts believe that all these are the debris from decades ago when the tunnel collapsed. Now they want to start removing the wooden crane pad area they previously used.
