For those avid viewers who are passionately waiting for Prison Break Season 6, we’ve some latest updates to satiate their desires. The sixth season of Paul Scheuring’s American television serial drama was already confirmed by Michael Thorn of Fox Entertainment, which obviously excited series’ fans. Recently, when Dominic Purcell took to social media to give a tad update on the making of Season 6, it consoled the passionate viewers with a notion that the series makers are working hard to complete it flawlessly.

The production is currently working for Prison Break Season 6 and this is certainly a great news for everyone. According to Michael Thorn, the production is currently in its initial phase and all the team members are highly excited about it. “It is going to be a new iteration of the show,” Thorn said.

Although there is no official confirmation on the number of episodes for Prison Break Season 6, according to some outlets, it is likely to have nine episodes. However, it is very tough to predict the number of episodes for the upcoming season as the first and second seasons had 22 episodes, whereas third, fourth and fifth seasons consisted of 13, 24 and 9 episodes respectively.

According to Hiptoro, there have been plenty of rumblings about the show and the notable one is that Netflix may negotiate for exclusive rights of the upcoming episodes. However, we don’t want to discourage the avid followers by making any speculations spinning over the current negotiations as all these are yet to be finalized.

Wentworth Miller earlier said that the series would largely revolve around making the new generation as palatable as possible for the viewers, EconoTimes noted. Albeit, the official plot is still under wrap, what we have come to know from the series creator Paul Scheuring's previous media interaction, the plot might take the viewers back to the beginning of the series so that they can have some serious twists.
