Telugu film artists protest against Bigg Boss on sexual harassment, demand ban

She demanded the Government of India should act and ban the reality show, she also demanded star coordinators of Bigg boss who are involved in casting couch and sexual harassment must be severally punished’.

The regional versions of Bigg boss have landed in big trouble on allegations of sexual harassment by female participants. Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi on Saturday protested against Bigg Boss reality and demanded the complete ban. The protestors were up in the arms against the Bigg Boss team for alleged sexual harassment of two female participants on the pretext of screening.
More than 100 activists from Tamil Nadu agitated at Jantar Mantar by holding play cards shouted against Bigg boss reality show. Under the leadership of Tamil Nadu, Telugu Yuva Sakthi President Kethireddy Jagadishwara Reddy agitated in supporting the victims Swetha Reddy Journalist, Gayatri Gupta actors of Bigg boss reality show dharna against sexual harassment in the name of the selection process.
The President of Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi Kethireddy Jagadishwara Reddy in his address "he demanded Govt. of India should take serious action against Bigg boss reality show in multiple languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi etc. and also he demanded Bigg boss reality show should be banned in India since the co-ordinators of Bigg boss reality show exploiting girls by doing abusive, vulgar conversation in the name of selection, since Bigg boss show is having high dose of obscenity, vulgarity, abuse and objectionable scenes it is affecting the Indian Civil Society especially provoking youth. He requested all the women activists and women politicians should take responsibility to banned such kind of filthy and vulgar reality shows like Bigg boss in all the languages. Further, he demanded Govt. of India immediate enquiry should be ordered in the casting couch and other irregularities in the Bigg boss reality show. This bigg boss show promoting of obscene, vulgarity, violence, encouraging illegal, anti-moral activities, abusive behavior as most appreciated and admired way of life misleading, misguiding children and young citizenery, especially women, taking advantage of vulnerable age and minds of children and young citizens, luring young artist to perform illegitimate, abnormal acts in the name of fame and money in short period of time, thus causing harm to society, broadcasting the content at prime time with renowned personalities whose presence influences on people as a mark of good 'content and attract people to watch without fail and with all enthusiasm, at a time when families watch television with children and elders of family together, which is against moral code of a civilized society, endangering harmony, peace and order prevailing in the citizenry affecting welfare state and seeking to stay of show casing of all the content with subject matter touching up on sexual abuse and exploiting young citizens, its affects are seen every year on years, very rare victims come-forth bringing to light the damage caused by the subject game show, to avoid loss to peace and order in the society. For that reason, we requested this Bigg boss reality show should be banned.

Another victim actress Gayatri Gupta demanded "Bigg boss show meeting should happen in the office monitored by CCTV, auditions should be done by panel of people with proper ID and position, women committee or cash committee should be involved in the show, terms and conditions should be clear from day one of the offers without manipulations'.
