London's Royal Albert Hall, which has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment, politics, and sport, is getting a Hollywood-style Walk of Fame.

London's Royal Albert Hall, which has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment, politics, and sport, is getting a Hollywood-style Walk of Fame, and those being honored range from Queen Victoria to singers Adele and Eric Clapton. Paying tribute to "key players" in the building's history since it opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall Stars honor 11 people and institutions with engraved stones, each decorated with a brass star and laid out around the famed site.

Roy Moore sues Sacha Baron Cohen, Showtime, CBS in $95 million defamation case

Roy Moore, the former U.S. Senate candidate from Alabama, on Wednesday filed a $95 million defamation lawsuit against Sacha Baron Cohen, claiming he was duped into appearing on the British comedian's Showtime series "Who Is America?" and falsely portrayed as a sex offender. Moore, a Republican and former chief justice of Alabama's Supreme Court, also sued Showtime and its parent CBS Corp for defamation and accused all three defendants of fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Actor Jeff Goldblum surprises London commuters with a piano performance

Hollywood actor Jeff Goldblum has faced dinosaurs and aliens in his movie franchises, but on Wednesday he showed off a very different skill - playing jazz music. The "Jurassic Park" and "Independence Day" actor surprised commuters at London's St Pancras International train station by performing music from his forthcoming jazz album on a public piano.

'Effortlessly chic' Meghan Markle named People's best-dressed woman

Meghan Markle was named the best-dressed woman of 2018 by People magazine on Wednesday in a rare accolade for royalty by the celebrity publication. Markle, 37, who became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Britain's Prince Harry in May, topped People's annual list ahead of Hollywood actresses including Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and reality star Kim Kardashian.

Thom Yorke has produced some "really frightening noises" for the horror movie "Suspiria" - his first venture into making a film soundtrack - as well as tunes of "sadness and sweetness". The Radiohead front-man has followed bandmate Jonny Greenwood into film music. Ukrainian filmmaker won't stop the hunger strike, 'his only way to fight' Russian jail

A Ukrainian filmmaker on the verge of starving himself to death in Russian jail will not end his hunger strike because it is "his only way to fight", a cousin who was one of the last people to visit him told Reuters. Oleg Sentsov, a native of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula, was jailed after Russia seized and annexed it in 2014, and has become a symbol of defiance in Ukraine.

Prince Charles and Rose McGowan winners at London GQ awards

Britain's Prince Charles and actress and anti-harassment activist Rose McGowan were among those honored at the annual GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday. Charles was recognized with the Editor's Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Philanthropy, with the magazine citing his nearly 50 years of charitable work including promoting causes such as the environment, opportunities for young people and religious tolerance.

No L.A. sex charges for Spacey, Seagal, Anthony Anderson

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office said on Tuesday it would not prosecute actor Kevin Spacey on a 1992 sexual assault accusation because it fell outside the California statute of limitations. The District Attorney's office also said it would not charge actor Steven Seagal and television comedy star Anthony Anderson over two other sexual assault accusations.
