A trader was shot dead by unidentified persons here, police said Monday.
The deceased was identified as Krishna Singh (45), a trader in inverter batteries.
The incident took place on Sunday night when Singh closed his shop in Surapur market and was going home. He was shot at by unidentified men. Passers-by alerted the police.
