China expects global economic growth and trade to slow this year

The global economy and trade will slow down this year, according to a government report released by China's state planner on Sunday.

The government said it must put more energy into improving the structure of foreign trade and to keeping trade levels stable. It also said it must re-double efforts to attract and utilise foreign investment.
