China's premier Li vows to push persistent economic improvement - state media

China's new premier Li Qiang pledged to push the overall economy to improve persistently meanwhile fending off major risks effectively, state media reported on Friday.

Li made the comments during a meeting of the State Council, or the cabinet, on Friday, according to state media.
