Hungary gets EU clearance for nuclear plant contract amendments -minister

Hungary received European Commission approval for amendments to the construction and financing contracts of planned new reactors at its Paks nuclear power plant, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Thursday.

Szijjarto said the new reactors at the plant, a mainstay of Hungary's energy supply, could start running at the start of the next decade.
