Kishan Reddy on Thursday said that the Union government wanted to dedicate the new parliament building to women. The bill has not been passed from the point of view of elections but rather to give respect to women. Rajya Sabha passed Women's Reservation Bill (Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam) with 214 MPs voting in favour and none voting against.
