Costa Rica hikes economic growth forecasts for this year and next

Costa Rica's central bank hiked its 2023 and 2024 economic growth estimates, projecting a 5.0% expansion this year and a 4.3% jump next year.

The updated economic forecasts for the Central American economy, known for its tourism sector as well as growing manufacturing, are 0.8 and 0.5 percentage points higher than the bank's July estimates, respectively.
