France's Macron wants Russia to explain reports of planned nuclear arms activities in space

Russian President Vladimir Putin should urgently provide explanations about reports on planned nuclear arms activities in space, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday.

Speaking at news conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Paris for the signing of a France-Ukraine bilateral agreement, Macron said he was cautious about these reports but added "if these facts were confirmed, this narrative would be serious, illegal, and destabilizing for the world, and worrisome for the citizens. Russia must promptly provide explanations," he said.
