Electricity production at Finland's Olkiluoto 3 nuclear reactor was interrupted on Monday due to a turbine malfunction and the issue was being investigated, operator TVO said in a regulatory filing.

The outage was expected to last for about 24 hours, according to the filing made via the Nord Pool power market. "After event stop the unit will be technically available to increase the power and 1499 MW can be reached within approximately 12 hours," the filing said.
