Suzlon Secures Major Wind Project with AMPIN Energy

Suzlon Group has secured a 103.95 MW wind project with AMPIN Energy Transition in Rajasthan's Fatehgarh district. The project involves the supply and installation of 33 wind turbine generators and promises to power 85,000 households while reducing CO2 emissions significantly. This marks a significant step in India's renewable energy expansion.

Suzlon Group has announced the acquisition of a 103.95 MW wind project from AMPIN Energy Transition. Under this agreement, Suzlon will provide wind turbines and oversee the project's complete execution and commissioning in Fatehgarh district, Rajasthan.

The project will involve the installation of 33 wind turbine generators, each with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. Post-commissioning, Suzlon will also offer comprehensive operations and maintenance services.

Set to power approximately 85,000 households, the project is expected to significantly reduce 3.38 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Commenting on this development, Vivek Srivastava, CEO of Suzlon Group India Business, noted the growing importance of hybrid renewable energy projects in India's energy transition.
