In a significant development, engineering giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that it has secured a substantial contract from the state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
The project, categorized as 'large' by L&T, is valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore. The Hydrocarbon vertical of L&T will oversee the Daman Upside Development Project, which entails the construction of four wellhead platforms and a 140-km pipeline, along with other modifications at the Tapti Daman block located off India's west coast.
The project includes comprehensive engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning efforts, marking a significant milestone for L&T in the offshore sector.
