Tragic Drowning Incident Claims Lives of Sisters in Rajasthan

A 13-year-old girl and her younger sister tragically drowned in a pond in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The pond was created by a local farmer, and the incident occurred while they were playing in the field. The bodies were recovered and returned to their family.

A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Bikaner district on Thursday, where a 13-year-old girl and her younger sister lost their lives to drowning, police reported.

The tragic event occurred in the Bigga village, where local resident Balaram Tavaniya had constructed an artificial pond on his farmland. While cultivation was ongoing, farmer Motaram Nain's children, Gopiram and 11-year-old Suman, were playing nearby.

Sadly, both children fell into the pond and drowned. The police have since recovered the bodies and handed them over to the grieving family for last rites.
