Three women sustained injuries after a house collapsed on Andheri Kurla Road in Mumbai's Kula (W) area on Sunday, according to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB). The incident occurred at approximately 2:04 PM today at Radha Nagar Chawl, near Old Kabrastan, Jarimari.
The structure, a ground plus one upper-floor brick-walled building with an A.C./G.I. sheet roof, collapsed completely, prompting an immediate response from the MFB. The three women were rescued from the debris and taken to Paramount Hospital in Sakinaka.
Dr Tasmiya of Paramount Hospital confirmed that the injured include Afrin Shaikh, 25, who sustained cuts on her face and neck; Rasika Nadar, 35, with blunt trauma injuries on her backside; and Exter Nadar, 67, who suffered scratches and is under orthopaedic evaluation.
