A Moradabad Roadways bus fell off a bridge near VIP Ghat in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on Sunday evening, causing injuries to several passengers. Officials have confirmed that the incident did not result in any casualties.

According to the police, the bus was traveling from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh to Dehradun when it lost control and plunged off the bridge. "The passengers sustained injuries, but there were no serious injuries reported," Haridwar SP Swatantra Kumar Singh stated. Upon receiving the information, a police team reached the site and, with the assistance of others, rescued the injured passengers and transported them to the hospital.

To ensure safety, a fire team also arrived at the scene along with the police. All passengers were safely rescued, and the injured received medical attention. SP Singh added that although the incident initially caused a disruption in traffic, it was soon restored by the efforts of the police and traffic police.
