Gandatwisa, a locality in Tripura, has regained normalcy following the tragic death of a minor due to the actions of some miscreants. The incident led to immediate deployment of Tripura Police and security personnel to control the situation. Authorities acted swiftly, apprehending the culprits responsible for the heinous act, thus easing community tensions.

Shops and markets in Gandatwisa have reopened, and daily routines have resumed. Government officials are back at work, a testament to the community's resilience and the decisive actions taken by the authorities. In the wake of the incident, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha assured comprehensive support to the victims and the family of the deceased. He emphasized thorough action to bring the culprits to justice and maintain community safety.

A day earlier, Social Welfare Minister Tinku Roy and senior BJP leader Subal Bhowmik visited Gandatwisa, interacting with affected residents and providing necessary assistance. Financial aid and support efforts aimed at mitigating the tragedy's impact were extended. On July 13, prohibitory orders under Section 144 were imposed in the Gandatwisa subdivision after a person was allegedly attacked and killed by miscreants, according to officials.

Officials confirmed the arrest and judicial custody of four individuals connected to the incident. Dhalai District Magistrate Saju Vaheed noted that the situation has been controlled with the deployment of CRPF and Tripura State Rifles personnel. The imposition of Section 144 was a precaution considering the law and order status after the victim, attacked during a local fair, succumbed to injuries on July 12.
