Three coal miners lost their lives and four others were injured when a coal mine collapsed in Darra Adam Khel, located 35 km southwest of Peshawar, on Tuesday, police reported.
Emergency response teams arrived promptly at the scene, where they managed to recover the bodies of the deceased. The injured workers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, extending his condolences to the bereaved families and offering prayers for the swift recovery of the injured miners.
