An explosion at a scrap warehouse in the Adhartal Industrial Area of Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district on Thursday resulted in one fatality, according to local police.
The blast, which occurred around 10 am, left one worker injured who later succumbed to his injuries at Tilwara hospital. Following the incident, police commenced investigations and the Bomb Disposal Squad began examining the site.
Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh informed that the warehouse owners, Kapil Jain and Sunil Jain, have been detained for further questioning. Preliminary reports suggest that the warehouse had recently received a shipment of ammunition box scrap from Raipur, which may have triggered the explosion. Authorities are continuing to gather evidence to determine the exact cause.
