A 27-year-old woman in Pune was allegedly assaulted in a road rage incident on Baner-Pashan Road. The confrontation occurred Saturday afternoon, as the victim, riding a two-wheeler with her two children, was followed for 2 kilometers by a car driver who then attacked her, causing severe injuries and a nosebleed.

Seeking justice and highlighting women's safety concerns, the victim recorded a video detailing the incident and shared it on Instagram, where it quickly went viral. Pune police have arrested the driver and another woman accompanying him, charging them under multiple sections of the BNS and the Motor Vehicle Act. The investigation is being conducted by Chaturshrangi Police Station.

Recounting her harrowing experience, Jerlyn Dsilva said, 'He was blocking me and wouldn't let me go. When the signal was red, I tried to talk to him, but he aggressively took down his window and started abusing me. As he pursued me, he eventually got out of his car and punched me, leaving me blank for ten seconds. His wife did not intervene.'
