Gold prices climbed by Rs 100 to Rs 75,650 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday, driven by intensified buying from jewellers and robust trends in global markets.
However, silver prices took a downturn, plunging by Rs 600 to settle at Rs 91,000 per kg, according to data from the All India Sarafa Association.
Meanwhile, gold of 99.5 percent purity saw a similar increase, rising by Rs 100 to Rs 75,300 per 10 grams. Traders attributed this growth to strong local demand and international market conditions.
