PM Modi and BJP Pay Homage to Freedom Fighters Tilak and Azad
On the birth anniversaries of Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Chandrashekar Azad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders paid tribute to the freedom fighters. On the birth anniversaries of freedom fighters Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Chandrashekar Azad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other BJP leaders, paid homage to the national heroes who fought for India's independence.
Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi praised Tilak's contributions, stating, 'Tributes to Lokmanya Tilak on his birth anniversary. He will always be remembered as a towering figure in India's fight for independence. He was a visionary who tirelessly worked to ignite the spirit of nationalism and, at the same time, emphasised education and service.'
In another post, the Prime Minister honored Chandrashekar Azad. 'On his birth anniversary, I pay homage to the great Chandra Shekhar Azad. He was a fearless hero, blessed with unwavering courage and commitment to India's freedom. His ideals and thoughts continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of millions of people, particularly the youth,' he said. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister S Jaishankar also took to X to pay their respects to the two revolutionaries, highlighting their enduring legacy in India's freedom struggle.
