MP Govt Announces Extra Aid for 'Ladli Behnas' on Raksha Bandhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav declares an additional Rs 250 for beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana during August, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan celebrations.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that an additional Rs 250 will be deposited in the bank accounts of Ladli Behnas, on top of the monthly aid of Rs 1250, to mark Raksha Bandhan in August.

Yadav invited ministers, MLAs, and public representatives to celebrate Rakhi with Ladli Behnas in their areas. The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh aims to foster social brotherhood through this initiative.

Raksha Bandhan, a festival symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters, will be celebrated on August 19. The Chief Minister extended greetings to all women and urged everyone to celebrate with great pomp.
