Rajasthan CM Lauds Union Budget 2024-25, Announces Development Projects

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma commended the Union Budget 2024-25 for its focus on uplifting various sectors in Rajasthan. He highlighted schemes to benefit youth, women, farmers, and the poor, while announcing multiple development projects in towns like Jaitaran, Beawar, and Kota.

Reacting to the Union budget 2024-25, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma praised the revised budget for its inclusive schemes and programs aimed at uplifting the youth, women, farmers, and the disadvantaged. He emphasized that the development wave will reach every part of Rajasthan.

Speaking at a meeting at the Chief Minister's residence on Wednesday, CM Sharma stated, "The public representatives working in their areas are aware of the common problems of the people. The state government is also promptly addressing the development demands of these representatives, and the promises made to the public will be fulfilled." He noted that approximately 45 percent of the promises made in the Sankalp Patra have been fulfilled, highlighting the state government's commitment to the welfare of all sections of society.

The government has ensured public welfare by providing a bonus of Rs 125 on the MSP of wheat, raising it to Rs 2,400 per quintal, and increasing the amount payable under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000. Social security pensions have seen a 15 percent increase, and the honorarium for Panchayati Raj, urban bodies, and Anganwadi workers has been increased by 10 percent.

CM Sharma assured that similar public welfare measures will be continued and that every promise made in the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing revolutionary changes in the country since 2014, citing initiatives like the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' campaign as noteworthy.

Highlighting the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign that encourages tree planting in honor of one's mother, CM Sharma pointed out various development gifts included in the budget for Kota, Beawar, and Jaitaran. He mentioned road projects in Jaitaran worth Rs 30 crore and additional projects costing Rs 110 crore aimed at connecting railway stations to a two-lane road on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.

Development projects in Jaitaran include constructing a 220 KV GSS, a Community Health Centre in Ras-Beawar, an Assistant Engineer (Mineral) Office, and upgrading the Nimbaj (Jaitaran) Veterinary Hospital. A Scheduled Caste Hostel will be opened in Beawar, and in Kota, construction will begin on a Green Field Airport among other initiatives.

In conclusion, CM Sharma reiterated that the state government is committed to the upliftment of the most marginalized individuals through the resolution of Antyodaya by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay. He urged everyone to fulfill their responsibilities and support the needy in accessing welfare schemes from both the Central and State Governments.
