Atishi stated, "A social media video has highlighted that some Peeragarhi residents are receiving alarming bright blue foamy water. This situation requires immediate intervention, as it could signify a larger underlying problem with serious future consequences."
The Chief Secretary has been directed to convene an urgent meeting with senior officials from relevant departments to resolve the issue promptly. Additionally, immediate action should be taken against any polluting units violating norms, with a detailed report due by Monday, July 29 at 5 pm.
