Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) CMD B Sairam on Saturday reported the company's 94% coal dispatch to the power sector, contributing Rs 15,000 crore to central and state exchequers through royalty and GST in FY24.
Sairam reiterated NCL's dedication to ensuring the nation's energy security during the Singrauli Industrial Summit 2024 held at the company's headquarters. The summit focused on driving economic growth, sustainable industrial development, and employment opportunities in the region.
Key activities at the summit included discussions on energy, aluminum, cement, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. An e-book, 'Industrial Landscape of Singrauli Region,' was released, highlighting NCL's efforts and future plans. NCL is targeting 139 million tonnes of coal production and dispatch this fiscal year.
