Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav has condemned the Ayodhya gang rape incident, alleging that the ruling BJP is exploiting the tragedy for political gains. Yadav stated this tactic follows the BJP’s recent electoral defeat in Ayodhya.

Yadav emphasized the need for transparency through narco tests for all involved, suggesting that BJP members should also undergo such examinations. He warned his own party members to remain vigilant against potential schemes orchestrated by the BJP to malign the Samajwadi Party.

The controversy took another turn when BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla accused SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav of shielding Moeed Khan, the primary suspect in the case. Poonawalla condemned Akhilesh Yadav for prioritizing vote bank politics over justice for a minor victim from the Nishad community.

Amid the escalating political feud, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav echoed calls for DNA testing of the accused to ensure justice. He urged a thorough investigation to either confirm guilt or exonerate the falsely accused, advocating for strong legal action based on clear evidence.
