ED Attaches Rs 19.60 Crore Assets of Fashion Gold Group in Kerala

The Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached assets valued at Rs. 19.60 crore belonging to Kerala's Fashion Gold Group. The attachment is part of an ongoing money laundering investigation.
The official ED X account disclosed that the attachment under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, took place on August 2, 2024. This case is also related to cheating charges.
Included in the attached assets are immovable properties belonging to the Fashion Gold Group Company, its Chairman MC Kamaruddin, Managing Director TK Pookoyathangal, and their family members, according to the ED. (ANI)
