On Wednesday, shares of drug maker Lupin surged over 6 per cent post the announcement of a 77 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for Q1 ending June 30, 2024.

The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 2,025 on the BSE, marking a 6.18 per cent rise, while on the NSE, it soared 6.23 per cent to Rs 2,029.95.

Lupin's net profit soared to Rs 801 crore in the June quarter of FY25, fuelled by robust sales across international markets. Total revenue from operations climbed to Rs 5,600 crore from Rs 4,814 crore compared to the same period last year.
