A tragic incident occurred in Maharashtra's Raigad district as a 16-year-old boy, identified as Suyash Nagarkar, allegedly ended his life using his father's licensed rifle, according to a police official.

The exact reason behind Nagarkar's drastic action remains unknown. It was revealed that the goldsmith's son had been suffering from depression for several months, leading to absenteeism from school.
