Microlender Arohan Financial Services reported a significant rise in net profit to Rs 104.08 crore in Q1 2024-25, a four-fold increase from the previous year. Microlender Arohan Financial Services has announced a remarkable more than fourfold increase in its net profit, reaching Rs 104.08 crore for the first quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year.
This significant rise from Rs 25.40 crore in the same quarter of the previous year is driven by a steady uptick in business operations and earnings, the company stated.
During the quarter under review, total income from operations surged 36 percent to Rs 469 crore, up from Rs 345 crore in the same period last year. The company's assets under management grew to Rs 7,062 crore by the end of June, compared to Rs 5,564 crore a year earlier.
Arohan Financial Services MD Manoj Nambiar credited the profit increase to a quality-first approach, which fostered steady growth with zero net non-performing assets (NPA). He also highlighted the company's strategic expansion into south India as a competitive advantage. Arohan's network includes 975 branches and serves 2.4 million customers across the country.
