Goa CM Leads Tiranga Yatra, Urges Nation to Embrace 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Movement

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant participated in a Tiranga Yatra organized by the BJP Youth Front in his constituency of Sanquelim on Sunday. Speaking to ANI, the Chief Minister said that the BJP is organizing the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' and Tiranga Yatra campaigns in every constituency across Goa. 'Today, in my constituency, the Youth Front organized a Tiranga Yatra. I participated in this Tiranga Yatra,' he stated.

Emphasizing the principle of placing the nation first, Sawant urged everyone to contribute toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047. 'Nation First, on this principle, we should all work for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047 and today, with a lot of enthusiasm, many youth participated in the rally,' he added.

Sawant also congratulated the youths who took part in the event, declaring that every constituency in Goa would host a Tiranga rally and that every household would display the Tiranga. Earlier on Thursday, Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat announced the third edition of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which will be celebrated from August 9-15 as part of the Independence Day festivities.

At a press conference in New Delhi, Shekhawat highlighted that the initiative aims to instill a spirit of patriotism and national pride by motivating every Indian to hoist the national flag. He urged citizens to place the Tiranga at their homes and click selfies with the flag. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also encouraged citizens to support the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement by hoisting the national flag at their residences.

On social media, PM Modi changed his profile picture to the Tricolour and encouraged others to do the same. Sharing a link, PM Modi requested everyone to share their selfies with the national flag on https://harghartiranga.com. 'As this year's Independence Day approaches, let's again make #HarGharTiranga a memorable mass movement. I am changing my profile picture and I urge you all to join me in celebrating our Tricolour by doing the same.
