RBI Director Discusses Financial Literacy with Himachal CM

Anupam Kishore, Regional Director of the Reserve Bank of India, discussed financial literacy and banking advancements with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. On Tuesday, Reserve Bank of India's Regional Director Anupam Kishore met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to discuss measures aimed at enhancing financial literacy and inclusion in Himachal Pradesh.

They also reviewed recent advancements within the banking sector. Chief Minister Sukhu congratulated the RBI on its 90th anniversary, commending the institution for its steadfast commitment to financial stability and economic growth. The Chief Minister acknowledged the pivotal role the RBI plays in national development goals.

Kishore provided an overview of various initiatives the RBI has undertaken to boost financial literacy and inclusion throughout the state. He also informed the Chief Minister about a financial literacy quiz for undergraduate students in Shimla, organized as part of the RBI's 90th-anniversary celebrations.
