The young girl's father had already passed away. Her mother, a daily wage laborer with an alcohol dependency, was found dead, hanging on a Thursday night. The child was staying at her aunt's home nearby when the incident occurred.

Struggling to gather money for the funeral, the grief-stricken girl was assisted by local residents and the police who contributed donations. With the community's help, she was able to conduct the funeral later that day. Various individuals, moved by media reports, have come forward to offer long-term support. BRS Working President K T Rama Rao directed local leaders to provide immediate monetary help and has promised further aid to ensure the girl's safety and well-being.
