Consortium Awarded Major LNG Terminal Contract in Jordan

GAS Entec, along with AG&P and local partners, has been awarded the contract to build the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah onshore LNG regasification terminal at Port of Aqaba in Jordan. The project will enhance Jordan's energy security and economy while leveraging advanced technology from Korea. It is set for completion in 22 months.

GAS Entec, in collaboration with AG&P and local partners, has won the contract to build the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah onshore LNG regasification terminal at Port of Aqaba, Jordan. The project, spearheaded by Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), will cover engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of a 720 mmscfd onshore LNG regasification facility.

Esteemed as Jordan's most significant energy venture, this terminal aims to stabilize the country's energy supply by allowing access to LNG from various international suppliers. The project is slated for completion within 22 months.
