Equity investment platform InvestorAi has secured Rs 80 crore in Series A funding, spearheaded by Lucky Investment Managers founder Ashish Kacholia and his associates, the company announced on Thursday. The Bangalore-based firm plans to use the funds to scale operations and introduce new products.

Founded in 2018, InvestorAi leverages advanced AI to offer stock recommendations for investors. 'We are convinced that India can lead the way in showcasing how AI technology can facilitate convenient and effective DIY wealth solutions,' said InvestorAi Chairman and co-founder Akshaya Bhargava. 'We are delighted to have market expert Ashish Kacholia on board and grateful for his confidence in our vision and team.'

InvestorAi co-founder and CEO Bruce Keith highlighted the opportunity in the market, noting that only 7 per cent of household income is currently invested in direct equities. 'Our platform is unique in its multi-product, multi-broker, and multi-manager capabilities, and also generates its own market-beating content,' Keith added.
